Mark was instrumental in helping us transform our apartment into a contemporary home whilst preserving and restoring a number of original features. With his professional knowledge and eye for detail with regard to listed buildings, we turned around a poor 1970s conversion that required essential upgrading into a fantastic living space within a conservation area by the side of the River Itchen in the beautiful historic cathedral city of Winchester.

What was most important to me was the close working relationship, timely delivery and creativity, all offered for a reasonable price.

When we had our conversion and extension done, we were very pleased with the attention we received from Mark and the way he listened carefully to what we wanted and did his best to meet our wishes. We ended up with some excellent designs which have worked perfectly. He was always prompt and efficient and was careful to make sure we understood the process as we took it forward.

Mark made the whole process stress-free. He understood what we were after so there was no mid-project design changes. He managed the tender process and the build, communicated really well, made the decisions we had to make really easy by providing options and a recommendation based on costs and benefits and was always mindful of the budget. That we have a finished house that we are very happy with says it all!

Mark has been helping us with our project for remodelling our house and changing the layout from a fairly complicated mishmash into something more practical. He managed to provide guidance whilst at the same time listening to our ideas and was very patient when we kept changing our mind. He worked very quickly and efficiently and produced some great plans that we were very happy with. He also helped us with costing and phasing the project, recommending tradespeople and was very budget conscious throughout. We have recommended Mark to friends and wouldn't hesitate to do so again.

Mark was recommended to us by a friend. He provided excellent service throughout the process. A good selection of plans were initially provided to us with some ideas that we hadn't thought about. Mark then managed the planning application process for us as well, plans went through first time with no issues. We would definitely use Mark again.

I have the greatest confidence in Mr Benzie’s abilities. He is organised and pays great attention to detail. His practical but aesthetical designs are pleasing to owners and tenants alike and his project management and knowledge of building materials and supplies is excellent.

We were so caught up in the madness was 2008 that we never really said thank you properly for all that you did for us. As you know we are safely ensconced in our happy home, loving being a family and marvelling at how everything turned out.

We were very happy with the input from C3 Design throughout the building project. Mark project-managed the build as we were away in Australia for the duration; it went very smoothly and we returned to a beautiful new home with minimal stress for us.

We chose Mark as our Architect due to his flexible approach and vision with our complex whole house refurb. He managed to design us the house we wanted and accommodated the many changes along the way!. He dealt with all the planning process/surveyors etc for us and ensured we had no problems. Having never undertaken a building project it was important to us to work with someone who understood us and what we were trying to achieve.
